I hate the liquid soap bottle on my counter. I think it junks up the place.
Yep. It’s definitely junks up the place.
A few days ago I was cruising through the blog Simcoe Street when I saw the solution I had been searching for. Jenny used an olive oil cruet to store her dish soap. Bingo! I literally left the house
three days later immediately and bought my own cruet with stopper at Walmart.
I put too much dish soap inĀ initially so I was skeptical as to whether this was really a brilliant solution. But now I think I have the perfect water to soap combo and love it.
Yes, it definitely gives the counter a cleaner look.
Anyone else rushing out to get their own cruet?
I love the look but have had problems with the glass cruet banging the dishes—especially when kids are helping wash the pots and pans. Do you think they make plastic cruets? I guess I should be on the lookout?! LOL!
Love this idea, saw it at your house over Xmas. Will be doing the same.
We did something similar here. It looks much better than the plastic soap bottle.
Love the idea also and temporarily have been using a glass container which we used for salad mixing till I have time to go shopping again. Just that improvement makes a difference. We spend a great deal of $ on our kitchens to advertise for Joy or Dawn…go figure!
And you will just have to purchase green dish soap, Ms Pat … In a proper hue to compliment the backsplash tiles.
LOVE IT!
