A Creative Paige GIVEAWAY!

I’m so excited to introduce you to Paige from The Creative Paige. Her blog is new but quickly becoming the place to go. I was originally drawn to her site because I believe it is visually appealing (no wonder she’s a graphic artist) but then stayed around because it is filled with so many crafts. Paige has graciously agreed to give away a very special prize to one winner, one that your family will treasure for a long time. Take it away Paige!

Hey Big D and Me readers, I’m so excited to be here today to introduce myself and to share a little giveaway!

First off, I’m Paige from The Creative Paige. I’m a graphic designer/stay-at-home mom of two adorable little boys. We are currently living in Mexico and it’s been a great adventure so far. I have, however, had a hard time keeping up my craft habits. It’s hard to find supplies here and when you do find them, they are EXPENSIVE. So, I’ve had to find new, creative ways to continue my craftiness.

I really love creating printables because I don’t have to go driving around this crazy city looking for supplies…I can do it from the comfort of my own home. I love having inspirational words around me, so I use quotes and scripture for a lot of my printables. And of course, they are always free to download! Here’s a sample of some of my favorites:

Stop by and grab a few…print them or use them as your desktop wallpaper. And keep coming back, because there will definitely be more. I’m working on some Christmas printables…but it just doesn’t seem right to focus too much on Christmas at least until after Halloween!

However, in the spirit of Christmas…

I’m giving away a custom Christmas Card design to one lucky Big D and Me reader! I love creating Christmas cards…it’s a super fun time of the year for me to see so many great family pictures and help people make something special to send to their friends and family.

One winner will receive a custom card design file with their family picture that they can take and print at any local printer.

  1. I keep Christmas cards displayed till new years, except the photo cards – they go on the fridge till the following Christmas. after that I only keep “special” cards – the ones where people took the time to write a meaningful message or ones from sick grandparents, etc.

  2. Yes, I do save people’s Christmas cards and don’t know what to do with them.

  3. I keep the picture Christmas cards and display them till the new year. Then they usually sit in a drawer or a box until hubby forces me to declutter a couple months later and then they end up in the trash can. 🙂

  4. I usually keep Christmas cards until the next Christmas when I get new pics to replace the old ones. I keep Christmas Cards up for along time! They are just so cheerful to have up on the fridge:)

  5. I follow big d and me on google connect. I put all my Christmas cards on the refrigerator but would like to find a better way of displaying this year. Maybe Jennifer will have some good ideas for us!

  6. Woops, I am on mom’s computer and accidentally signed Amanda up. Well, she follows Big d and me as well. I am looking for creative ways of displaying xmas cards this year

  7. Hi! Great great great family pic at the top! Thanks for telling us all about A Creative Paige and introducing me to another crafty and fun blog 🙂
I’m already a follower via GFC for Big D and Me…I stick our Christmas cards to the wall as soon as they arrive and leave them up til the new year! I keep some of the kids cards their friends give them and photo cards.

  8. My “picture” cards go on a magnet board on the entry way to my side door for the entire year. I move them to the holiday scrapbook right after Thanksgiving. We choose our top favorite cards (5) and use in the scrapbook – sometimes more:) the others we recycle to St. Judes who makes sale items out of them.

  9. I display on my fridge photo Christmas cards for the year of close friends. I do keep Christmas cards from years past in hopes that I will find a creative way to use them in the future. I keep wanting to put the photo cards in a scrapbook to watch the families grow up over the years of cards.

  10. I love receiving holiday cards and usually save ones from family for most of the year – displaying them on our refrigerator.

  11. I save them until I put Christmas away. Although, I have seen some clever ways to save the cards lately, maybe I’ll try that from here on out!

    Thanks!

  12. I keep Christmas cards forever–I just can’t throw them out! 🙁 I just store them in big ziplock bags wiht the year marked on the front.

  13. I do save Christmas cards…I want to eventually use them for a craft project of some sort. I have even seen on Pinterest people use rings to make them into a book to display on a coffee table during the holiday season!

  14. I hang them on a Christmas ribbon with miniature clothespins through the holidays. Then I save them for crafts. Forever!
