A Thought…

Have you ever stopped to ponder the following?

It was easier to get sleep while sharing a twin bed with your boyfriend in college than it is to share a king bed with your toddler?

I’m tired…be back tomorrow.

  1. Sharing the bed with a child is absolutely painful! My son used to wake up and come into our room, after about 5 mins I put him back in his bed. My back can’t take all that kicking and twisting, or the occasional head butts!
    Wishing you better nights!

  2. And even harder when there are cats and dogs that insist on sleeping on a CA king with you! I often end up with less than 12″ of space (needless to say, hard to turn over whilst sleeping without ending up on the floor!).

  3. I’m exhausted today as well, but mine has more to do with work than a 2 year old. She’s so cute though, how can you resist 🙂

  4. I can totally relate to this! Me and my boyfriend shared a twin bed with no troubles for almost two months, but one night in a queen with my 3-year old nephew and I’m left exhausted. It’s like he’s got more limbs than an octopus.

  5. I cannot sleep when I share a bed with my kids—EVER!! Never have! Painful!!

Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog and my daughter’s anxiety notebook. I appreciate your kind words. I can only imagine how that one incident could bring you so much fear. Blessings to you!

  6. Isn’t it funny that way?! Probably because we’re so concerned about suffocating our children and didn’t care if boyfriend had an elbow to the throat or not! Hope you get some shut-eye!
