In school, Caroline learns a new letter each week.
Since she wasn’t really picking up each letter each week, I decided to work with her on the new letter before it is introduced.
This week the letter was P and one of our activities was shaving cream writing.
Caroline loved it and had lots of fun writing the letters.
She also had tons of fun just playing.
Needless to say, she took a shower after this.
Cute idea, the tactile approach is a good way to do it. Some kids also like the feel of sandpaper letters….and I bet she would like the jello letters one makes with that jiggley yet firm jello recipe…she could serve the boys letters…and probably Sophie, too!
