Studies have shown that owning a dog can add as many as 7 years to your life.
Apparently, owning a dog helps lower your blood pressure and relieves stress.
I think those scientists must have been on crack.

They don’t claim the seven years are good ones!
Still, you gotta love dogs, all they want is food, some affection, and to chew shit!
Cranky Old Man
I lost about 3 pairs of shoes to the puppy years. But it was worth it.
Yep, not a dog lover over here. You don’t even need words with those pictures! Sorry.
OH man, I can see how you might not currently agree with said studies! HA HA HA! Hope it gets better… 😉
Shoes, I get it, but the window sill??? If puppy is not in a crate while you are gone, you need to get her one NOW! I used to think it was cruel, but it makes all the difference. Puppy is out and about while we are home and can watch him, getting attention and exercise. When we are away and during the night, he is locked in his “home” where he can feel safe and stay out of trouble!
This is a hilarious post!!! As long as you aren’t the one it happened to 🙂
Thanks for the reminder of why we did not keep our puppy last year.
Guess your the exact reason that dogs like Sophie are available at the pound.
This cracks me up. We aren’t really dog people. The pictures above are exactly why. I have 3 kids wrecking everything I own, they don’t need any help. 🙂
LOL More examples of why I don’t want a dog!
Hahahaha this is too funny. Reminds me of my first dog, when we got him as a puppy I was so ready to return him to wherever my brother got him from 😀
I was actually excited when our puppy ate our horrific couch. Because maybe that meant we could replace it! That was seven years ago, and the couch is still in our family room, chomp marks and all. Sigh…
