I was perusing through the classifieds the other day when I came across this ad.
After the first read through I snickered.
After the second I was horrified.
After the third I was counting my blessings.

It makes me feel so grateful that someone who needs help is willing to help out someone else who deserves a chance at a job.
I’m thinking that as I think about it, it’s a pretty good idea! It give a homeless person somewhere to live and gives him a job!
It makes me sad that some people have so few resources that they end up in a vulnerable position while trying to get the help they need. I don’t think this is necessarily a bad idea if the right match could be made, but I wish this person had contacted a social agency, church or other organization to filter applicants.
I think that the person has good intentions behind the ad, but I do worry about the applicants that the person may attract.
Due to the current economic times there are some good qualified people that are homeless and need these types of opportunities………I just hope that they are the ones who apply.
